DAY ONE: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked by the driver guide in the morning and be driven to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for Lunch. After lunch and brief rest, you will proceed on an afternoon game drive viewing the various attractions in the park.

Amboseli National Park boasts of over 80 different types of Mammals and over 400 bird species. Animals which can be seen in the park include Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Masai giraffe, Grant’s zebra, wildebeest and many others. Birds which you might come across are Madagascar Pond-Heron, Lesser Flamingo, Lesser Kestrel and the Shoebill and many others.

Back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight

DAY TWO: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Start your day with breathtaking sights of Mt Kilimanjaro, if weather allows. After munching on a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on an adventurous game drive throughout the park. You’ll be thrilled to spot large herds of elephants in their natural habitat! The highlight of the tour will be the bird’s eye view from the observation point where you can take in the stunning landscape swarming with wildlife. Finish off your day with an optional trip to a Masai village and return back to the lodge by evening!

DAY THREE: AMBOSELI TO LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart Amboseli after an early breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch. On the way, you will have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point. This view is spectacular. After lunch and brief rest, you will be taken to hells gate where you will have guided nature walk among wild life. You will also have option of boat rides in the lake at an extra cost. The park has a variety of wildlife. Giraffe, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and other small gazelles and antelopes are common in the grassy plains. Also available but rarely seen are lions, cheetahs and leopards. Back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY FOUR: NAIVASHA TO MASAI MARA

You will leave Lake Naivasha in the morning after early breakfast and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on your afternoon game drive feasting your eyes on the marvels that Masai Mara has to offer. All members of the big 5 are found in this reserve. Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland among others. Different bird species are also found. They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter. In the evening you will retire to your lodge, have dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

DAY FIVE: FULL DAY MASAI MARA GAME DRIVES

After breakfast you leave the lodge carrying packed lunches and embark on a full day of game viewing. You will also have an option visiting a Masai village which can be arranged by the driver guide. You will be back to the lodge in the evening.

DAY SIX: MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

Depart the lodge after breakfast and be driven to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be hosted for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant before being dropped at your hotel or the airport.

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

A luxury lodge located right in the heart of Amboseli National Park. The lodge is excellent with good restaurant, a nice outdoor terrace, swimming pool, and entertainments at night. The rooms are also large with mosquito nets. Because of its location inside the park, wildlife sometimes come up to the hotel.

Lake Naivasha Country club

The luxury hotel is located on the lake shore and occupies lovely grounds on the eastern side of the lake. It provides an opportunity to relax in the swimming pool, have drink at the lovely bar or simply enjoy the view down by the lake.

Masai Mara Safari Lodge

Located in an elevated location, this luxury lodge offers wonderful views of the wildlife reserve. Rooms are colorful and large with incredible views. Other amenities include the swimming pool. You can also relax at the restaurant or the bar.
