About Kenya

Located halfway down the East Coast of Africa, astride the equator, Kenya is the most accessible country in the region. With over 54 national parks and game reserves, a sheer diversity of wildlife, and an excellent network of international flights arriving and departing each week, Kenya is an easy and fascinating country to visit.

Game Safaris, birding and scenic tours are Kenya’s biggest attractions, drawing many visitors to the country each year. Kenya boasts more than 20 national parks and game reserves, where visitors can view some of the country’s most spectacular wildlife, including the members of the “Big Five” family. In fact, the “Big Five” are the central focus for the majority of safari enthusiasts who throng Kenyan Wildlife Parks. Kenya’s most popular game park is the Masai Mara, which borders the Serengeti plains in Tanzania. Between July and September, visitors can witness the remarkable annual Wildebeest Migration whereby wildebeests by their millions and thousands of zebra march to cross the highly crocodile-infested waters of the Mara River. This is where the real magic unfolds and therefore, no one anywhere in the world should miss this rare spectacle.

Kenya is the home of safari, the Big Five, and one of the world’s top holiday destinations. The country is blessed with excellent all-year climate and features well-established tourist facilities.

The country offers a world of attractions, much more than any other destination. It has stunning landscapes, cultural diversity, adventure sports, beautiful unique beaches and unparalleled wildlife.
