The climate is moderate all year round. Days are usually sunny but not too hot in most areas. National Parks are breathtakingly different in wildlife and scenery ! One of the most famous Game Reserves is certainly the Maasai Mara, an extension of the vast Serengeti Eco-system. A million plus wildebeest, zebra are crossing during the Migration time from Tanzania into Kenya’s Mara Game Reserve annually between end of May to October / November. A spectacle not to be missed ! Kenya is an ALL YEAR ROUND Safari Destination! One can get excellent deals in the period of April & May which is our Green Season. The Masai Mara is hosts the greatest density of wildlife of any Game Reserve / Park in Africa. Big Cats such as lion, leopard and cheetah, elephant, buffalo and Giraffe can be spotted easily.

Other Parks include the world famous Amboseli National Park with the snow- capped Mount Kilimanjaro and its large Elephant Herds, Amboseli Lake that has occasional Flamingo and the Maasai Tribe that live in harmony with the wildlife. For any first time visitor, a wonderful and very different reserve is the semi-arid desert Samburu Game Reserve where Reticulated Giraffe, The Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich roam. With Doum Palms and the mighty Ewaso Nyiro River as well as large herds of elephant and buffalo, this is truly an enchanting place for wildlife & Tribes such as the colourful Samburu people.

Masai Mara Game Reserve
The great wildebeest migration. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.
The Tsavo National Park
Unbiased, informative and accurate. Tsavo East lies to the east of the Nairobi – Mombasa highway, equi-distant between Nairobi and Mombasa. World famous Tsavo West National Park, with it’s Tsavo East neighbour, combine to form one of the largest national parks in the world.
Mount Kenya National Park
Hike Africa's second highest Mountain. Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and the second-highest in Africa, after Kilimanjaro. The highest peaks of the mountain are Batian, Nelion and Point Lenana. The scenery surrounding this designated World Heritage Site is breath-taking.
The Meru National Park
Straddling the Equator and Bisected by 13 Rivers. Meru National Park is located east of Meru, 350 km from Nairobi. Covering an area of 870 km², it is one best known national parks in Kenya. Rainfall in this area is abundant with 635–762 mm in the west of the park and 305–356 mm in the east.
The Amboseli National Park
A Photographer’s Paradise. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species.

The Shimba Hills National Park
Roosevelt's sable. It is a stronghold for the rare subspecies of sable antelope. A fenced elephant corridor connects the Shimba Hills with Mwaluganje Forest Reserve to the North, where a great diversity of Kenya's plant species exist, many of which are endangered. It protects one of the last large coastal rainforests in East Africa.
The Kakamega Forest National Reserve
A Tropical Rainforest in the Heart of Kenya. Stepping into the dense, dark jungle of the Kakamega Forest Reserve is like being transported to the Africa of ancient times. Moving through the thick canopy of this tropical rainforest you’ll be met with the sounds of birdsong, chattering monkeys and croaking frogs.
The Mwingi Game Reserve
The Wilderness Activity Zone. attractions include the Adamson’s Falls, fishing and boating on Tana River and visiting Kampi ya Simba – former home of Joy and George Adamson and the grave of Elsa the lioness. Bordered by other reserves it is frequently visited by different animals from the neighboring reserves.
Nasolot National Reserve
Beautiful and rugged. The reserve is quite remote which means few visitors and a chance to be at one with nature in the seemingly endless plains within its borders. Visitors to this paradise can enjoy spectacular views from Nasolot Hill, bird watching, camping, fishing and nature walks. Best time to visit - All year round Activities.

Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve
Haven of the Green Turtle. Green turtles, unique coral gardens, the Gede Ruins – the Watamu Marine National Park & Reserve has it all. Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve is located in Kenya. Established in 1968, it was one of Kenya's first marine parks. It is located about 90 miles north of Mombasa, Kenya's second largest city.
Diani and Wasini Marine shores
Unspoiled, beautiful and sun kissed, the Kisite Marine Park protects the scenic islands and special habitats of a wide range of endemic marine animals and breeding migratory birds. It lies in the coral gardens south of Wasini Island and encompasses three small coral rag forest islands, each with considerable areas of fringing reef. Visitors can also enjoy bird watching, diving and of course, sunbathing.
The Lamu Archipelago
The oldest and best-preserved Swahili Settlement in East Africa. Built in coral stone and mangrove timber, the town is characterized by the simplicity of structural forms enriched by such features as inner courtyards, verandas, and elaborately carved wooden doors. Lamu is a peaceful tropical island where life is lived at its own relaxed rhythm, but a place whose history is as mysterious and fascinating
Mombasa Marine Park
An Allure of Natural beauty. Warm azure ocean, swaying coconut palms on white sandy beaches are to be found in the Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve. The park is 10 km² while the reserve is 200 km². It is claimed to be oldest marine park in Africa. It is located on the coast near tourist areas and is a popular beach because of the snorkeling and diving. It is the most frequently visited of Kenya's marine parks.
