Community Social Responsibilities
NIMBUS TOURS & TRAVEL LIMITED COMPANYS’ HELPING HAND
It is important to note that for every safari or program booked by clients at Nimbus Tours & Travel Limited, 10% is ploughed back to the community. The company gives back to the society through supporting the destitute and orphaned children with basic needs like education, food, good shelter, clothing, good health/medication and livelihood skills acquisition.
The following are just but a few of the community based projects that we are currently supporting among others:
- - Hope Kindergarten School in Mwakirunge.
- - Shanzu Good Hope.
- - Baraka Children's Home.
- - Kiembeni Tailoring School.
Giving School uniform
This is a Nursery community based project which offers hope and free education to children between the age of 3 to 7 years. Majority of the children are orphans and destitute children. It is Located at Mwakirunge area and with a population of about 120 children.
Guiding and counseling services
With the empowerment of Nimbus Tours & Travel Limited Company through the eco-tour programs an orphanage Centre has gradually benefited from the project. The establishment enhouses about 52 children and strives to offer education and guiding and counseling services to the less fortunate children.
Eco-Tour Programs
This project is based at Nguutatu. Nimbus Tours & Travel Limited Company through it’s eco-tour programs has the children’s home also in her program and at heart.
Pursuit of education
Nimbus Tours & Travel's vision for the girl child as well as the unfortunate children in the society is to empower them with livelihood skills. In partnership with hello foundation from the UK Nimbus Tours & Travel Limited Company has been able to help up Kiembeni Tailoring School; one of several channels of vocational training in tailoring and dressmaking by donating sewing machines among others. The tertiary college helps the girl-child who are unable to proceed with her education as a result of either financial problem or so to acquire basic dressmaking/tailoring/sewing skills and values in life.
