4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS MASAI MARA – L. NAIVASHA

Description

The Mara Park is famous for the annual migration of the wildebeests accompanied by zebras crossing the Mara river to the Tanzanian, Serengeti National Park. Other animals include: the big five, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, buffaloes among others.

  DAY 1: NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA NAT. RESERVE

  6.00am: Early pick up at your hotel, morning departure and briefing by our Tour guide/driver. Drive through the Great Rift Valley and other areas of geological occurrences. Brief stop at the View Point of Rift Valley for photography. Proceed with the safari to Mara.

• Check in on time for lunch at the AA Mara lodge. After lunch, either swim or short siesta at the lodge until 4.00pm where you will be picked for evening game drive until around sunset 1800/1830hrs for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

  DAY 2: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

  Another day dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains would be ideal. What an exhilarating experience! Evening game drive. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

  DAY 3: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

  After your early morning breakfast, check out from the lodge with an exit game viewing drive as we proceed to Lake Naivasha. Arrive on time for lunch at the Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp. After lunch, take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus. Tour shall be followed by the Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

  DAY 4: LAKE NAIVASHA - HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK - NAIROBI

  Early morning game drive. Breakfast at leisure thereafter, we head to Hell’s Gate National Park for bicycle ride. You can also opt to walk or drive on your safari mini-van. Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. Resident wildlife are Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Warthog and Buffalo. A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. After trekking the gorge, we shall head back to Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arrive Nairobi and drop off to your Nairobi hotel after having had a wonderful, memorable and enjoyable experience.
