  DAY 1: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI NAT. PARK

  Pick up at your hotel/residence early morning departure and briefing by our tour driver guide. Depart and drive by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. The park protects two of the five main swamps, and includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semi-arid vegetation. 140 kilometres (87 mi) South of the capital city Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is the second most popular national park in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and Full board accommodation at Kibo Safari Camp.

  DAY 2&3: AMBOSELI NAT. PARK - SAMBURU NAT. PARK

  We spend the second day in Amboseli and rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating ‘Spice’ game drive in search for the big five. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast.On the 3rd day, after early morning breakfast game drive enroute to Samburu National Reserve, stopping at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Lunch is enjoyed at the safari lodge, built in the Ewaso Nyiro River. After lunch you prepare for your late afternoon game viewing drive through the reserve.

  Day 4&5: MT. KENYA NAT. PARK - LAKE NAKURU NAT. PARK

  Travel south to the Mount Kenya forest on day 4 of your Kenya safari tour, arriving at Mountain Lodge, set deep in the forest. Enjoy lunch overlooking a tranquil, floodlit waterhole, followed by an afternoon escorted walk through the forest with a local guide. There is a morning departure for Lake Nakuru, where thousands of Flamingo feed in the shallow waters. The Rothschild Giraffe and Black and White Rhino have been transplanted to this area to replenish these species. Return for lunch and prepare for your afternoon game and bird viewing around the lakeshore. Overnight is at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar on a full board basis.

  Day 6&7: LAKE NAKURU NAT. PARK - MASAI MARA NAT. RESERVE

  Depart to Mara for game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Mara National Reserve. We start our day with breakfast beside the lake then check out and game drive enroute to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Another day dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill.

  DAY 8: MASAI MARA NAT. RESERVE - NAIROBI

  Wake up call for a morning game drive, pre-breakfast game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon after having had a memorable and great experience safari.

Option of a visit to a Masai village or if not done on the previous day then a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains would be ideal. What an exhilarating experience! Evening game drive. All meals and overnight at the lodge.
