  Day 1: Departure

  6.00am: Pick up at your hotel, early morning departure and briefing by the Tour guide/driver and then proceed through Mombasa - Nairobi highway to enter Tsavo East which covers 11,747 sq. km and in south-west Kenya, inland from the coast, through the Bachuma Gate. Commence on a morning Game drive in search of the famous Red Elephants because of the laterite soil (volcanic soil), the Man Eaters of Tsavo, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Leopards, Buffalos, and Rhinos among other wide range of wildlife. Drive through the park where the Birdlife is also abundant and beautiful, with more than 400 species to be seen. Several Reptiles species including the crocodiles commonly in the Athi and Tsavo rivers.

• 12.30pm: Lunch at the famous Voi Safari Lodge, from the comfort of the lodge it’s possible to view game ambling to and from the park while being served with both the international and local cuisine. Besides, there’s a special hide for camera enthusiasts, enabling photographers to take close-up images of game animals at the edge.

  After lunch, we exit Tsavo East to our second park, via superb view of the sisal plantation enroute to Taita hills wildlife Sanctuary which is a privately owned conservation area located at the foot of the Taita Hills adjacent to Tsavo West National park- One of the world’s largest game reserves.

• Arrive at Taita and check in at Taita hills then drive to Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge for overnight, which is a true unique architectural concept consisting of 96 distinctively luxurious oval-shaped rooms, overlooking a waterhole which attracts a large array of wildlife, especially Elephants.

  DAY 2: SALTLICK SAFARI LODGE - MOMBASA

  Wake up call for a morning game drive, Return for breakfast at 0800 hrs, breakfast then proceed for another game drive till mid day or go for swimming at Taita Hills lodge, then lunch at the famous Taita Hills Lodge, after lunch drive back to Mombasa arriving in the evening at your hotel having had a wonderful, educational and memorable day.
