  DAY 1: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI NAT. PARK

  6.00am: Pick up at your hotel/residence early morning departure and briefing by our tour driver guide. Depart and drive by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. The park protects two of the five main swamps, and includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semi-arid vegetation. 140 kilometres (87 mi) South of the capital city Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is the second most popular national park in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and Full board accommodation at AA Amboseli Luxury Camp.

  DAY 2: AMBOSELI NAT. PARK – LAKE NAKURU NAT. PARK

  After early morning breakfast, morning game drive in Amboseli and rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, game drive enroute to Lake Nakuru, where thousands of Flamingo feed in the shallow waters. The Rothschild Giraffe and Black and White Rhino have been transplanted to this area to replenish these species. Return for lunch and prepare for your afternoon game and bird viewing around the lakeshore. Overnight is at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar on a full board basis.

  Day 3: LAKE NAKURU NAT. PARK - MASAI MARA NAT. RESERVE

  Depart to Mara for game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Mara National Reserve. We start our day with breakfast beside the lake then check out and game drive enroute to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara Park is famous for the annual migration of the wildebeests accompanied by zebras crossing the Mara river to the Tanzanian, Serengeti National Park. Other animals include: the big five, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, buffaloes. Check in for Lunch at the Mara Sopa lodge, Masai Mara. After lunch you will either relax at the lodge until 4.00pm or enjoy swimming by the pool afterwhich you will be picked for evening game drive until 1800/1830hrs for dinner and overnight.

  Day 4: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

  6.00am: Another day dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill.

  DAY 5: MASAI MARA NAT. RESERVE - NAIROBI

  Wake up call for a morning game drive, pre-breakfast game drive and back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon after having had a memorable and great experience safari.

Option of a visit to a Masai village or if not done on the previous day then a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains would be ideal. What an exhilarating experience! Evening game drive. All meals and overnight at the lodge.
